Scott Baumann, CPT, Operating Partner and General Manager
Scott
is the General Manager of Fitness Together Miami and oversees the operations
of Fitness Together South Miami and Coconut Grove. A graduate of Rutgers University
with over 15 years of experience in fitness and certified through the American
Council on Exercise, Scott has a vast knowledge of fitness training that he has
used to help create the Fitness Together Miami system of training. This system
was developed in his over eight years as the premier trainer at one of Manhattan’s
largest health clubs before he made the move to sunny Miami! Now the operating
partner of Fitness Together South Miami he has devoted his life to bringing the
highest level of training, customer service and personal attention to South Florida.

Angelo Bosques
Angelo
is the Fitness Manager of Fitness Together South Miami and is certified through
the ISSA, the International Sports Sciences Association, and is a certified Nutrition
Together consultant. Angelo has an extensive background in sports and athletics
and a great awareness of the importance of physical conditioning combined with
proper nutrition to improve athletic ability, enhance focus and mental concentration.
Angelo has been with Fitness Together Miami for over 2 years and combining his
knowledge of health and fitness with endless enthusiasm and a positive attitude,
he can bring energy to even the earliest morning workouts! Angelo is also currently
pursuing a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University.

Sara Seltzer
Sara
is certified through the ISSA, a certified Nutrition Together consultant and
has been involved in fitness and physical activity since age three when mom and
dad finally let her enroll in her first ice skating class. She followed her short
skating career with a lifetime of physical fitness activities including gymnastics,
soccer, track and field, water polo, mountain biking, hiking, and marathon training.
Sara has always enjoyed working with people in positions where mental and physical
strength and endurance have complemented one another.
She enhances her life with
regular weight training and maintains a balanced lifestyle. She is motivated
to motivate others by the people in her life including her coworkers and clients
at Fitness Together. She believes in the words of Charles Darwin, "It is
not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but
the one most responsive to change". When mental and physical fitness are
part of our daily lives, we are ready to present our best selves in order to
overcome any challenges that may face us.

Leslie Wakefield
Leslie Wakefield earned her BS in Exercise and Sport Science, as well as her
MS in Human Performance from the University of Florida, and is a Certified Strength
and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
She has taught undergraduates and graduates in courses such as Advanced Weightlifting,
Conditioning, and Self Defense, as well as lead Bootcamps and outdoor training
classes. While at the University of Florida Leslie worked with Division 1 athletic
teams, including Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Soccer and Softball, and has worked
as a personal trainer in university, country club and studio settings. Leslie
is currently earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Miami,
and believes that physical fitness is an integral part of mental and emotional
wellness. "You can't separate your mind and body," she says, "so
when you are challenged physically, and look and feel your best, you shape up
mentally and emotionally as well."

Malia Panos
Malia
is certified through the ISSA, a certified Nutrition Together consultant, and
got her start in fitness when she hired a personal trainer eight years ago to
get her in shape for a 60 mile walk for breast cancer. She completed that walk
and went on to do three more, a sprint triathlon and numerous 5K’s runs.
Her passion for exercise grew as she saw the value of exercise and strength training
in her physique and her daily life. Her wonderful experience with her trainer
made her want to get into personal training herself and be able to make an impact
in the lives of others. One of her greatest joys, in addition to raising her
four children, is helping her clients to realize their true potential and to
show them that they really can “Do it!”. She is affectionately known
as Fitness Together's version of "Jillian" from the Biggest Loser for
her "never say die" attitude and motivation.

Frank Gutierrez
Frank
is certified through the ISSA, the International Sports Sciences Association
, and is an amateur competitive kick boxer and avid martial artist. Known for
his intense boxing sessions and fast paced workouts, Frank’s genuine personality
and supportive attitude enables him to push his clients to new levels of strength
and conditioning while keeping them smiling! His background of martial arts,
strength and conditioning programs are a perfect fit for Fitness Together.
With
a winning combination of toughness and compassion, Frankie can provide the right
level of motivation and direction for clients of any fitness level.

Gabriel Lamas
Gabriel
began pursuing athletics in Massachusetts, where he wrestled for 6 years. During
that time, he held top placings throughout New England in state and regional
invitationals. Wrestling taught Gabriel a passion and dedication for fitness
and conditioning. Gabriel will be graduating Florida International University
next year with a B.S. in both Psychology and Nutrition and Dietetics. Post graduation,
he plans on becoming a board certified dietitian. Gabriel is a certified personal
trainer through the IFA and he is also trained and certified in the Nutrition
Together program and is ready to help you achieve your health and fitness goals
through both training and nutritional guidance. Gabriel has experience working
with a wide demographic of clientele, from athletes engaging in sport specific
training to people with limitations onset by stroke or prior illness. He believes
that health and fitness are relative terms to the individual and it his goal
to assist you in reaching your ideal body and level of health.

Elisa Seda
Elisa is a certified personal trainer through NESTA,
The National Exercise and Sports Training Association and a certified Nutrition
Together consultant. Far from your typically “genetically gifted” personal
trainer, Elisa wasn’t always fit or into fitness. At the age of 18 she
weighed 200 lbs. and with a commitment to exercise, research and a healthy diet,
she was able to drop over 75 lbs. This experience gave her the motivation to
help others who are facing the same challenges. She has extensive experience
working with weight-loss clients, athletes and a variety of individuals including
elders and those with specific medical needs for over 5 years. She understands
individually customized programs combined with supervision and practical information
is the key to achieving any health and fitness goal. Elisa sessions are energetic
and challenging, and her “can-do” attitude provides motivation to
keep her clients positive and focused.
